Coppa di Walt
Please note that Round 14 is a midweek round and will run December 3-4, that's Tuesday and Wednesday of this week. Tomorrow.
El Jefe is having an historic year. If ever there were an appropriately named team, then this is it. Without the silly benefits of the Supersubs function at fantasyleague.com as well as being in a 14 team league (a much more shallow than average player pool), El Jefe is sitting 60th in the overall fantasyleague.com system. And we're nearing the halfway point of the season. I know Chapala will probably pipe in and remind everyone that a few years back he dipped his little thing into the top 200 after the first day of the season, but that doesn't even count. On any given weekend, any crappy team can get 18 points from clean sheets.
Regardless, I tip my hat to El Jefe's season and the 27 point monster they put up this weekend. One more hat tip goes out to the John Neff Memfricans for shooting a nine under par 63 this weekend. That's right, Memfrica put up a -9, surely a Walt League record. Most impressive.
Also, I know the 50th anniversary has passed us by, but if you yearn for a breakdown of the official story of the JFK assassination, then enjoy these 4 minutes brought to you from the sunny climes of western Japan by independent media smart guy James Corbett of The Corbett Report. I must say, the Warren Commission did their collective homework.
