A "Swap Deal" has occurred today. In English, a swap deal is a trade and I do believe this is only the WLP's 2nd swap deal in history.
El Jefe has made a deal with the Memphis Rogues. El Jefe swaps Ross Barkley for the Rogues' Danny Welbeck. A congratulations to the Rogues for making its first change of the young season - http://www.fantasyleague.com/Pro/Team/Changes.aspx?teamid=10328.
El Jefe stretches out a 9 point lead at the top of the table. The Supporters Shield is definitely in sight. El Jefe also disposed of Uber Rookies 12-2 in the Pro Cup 1st Round. The 2nd Round will be played during Rounds 23 AND 24 of the league which runs Tuesday and Wednesday as well as this weekend. A transfer window will close on tomorrow night, Monday the 27th at 10 pm CST.

Off topic, but of interest to some for sure, I stumbled across an hour long documentary this week called One Night in Turin. It documents England's navigation of Italia '90. I'm no England fan boy by any stretch, but Geez O' Pete, this thing is really good. I got sucked in early and couldn't peel my eyes away. Thespian-nut job extraordinaire, Gary Oldham, lends his voice to the proceedings. I think you have to watch it on Netflix. I highly recommend it. Speaking of brilliant nut jobs, you get a whole lot of Gazza as well.
Here's a clip of Chris Waddle as he misses the final penalty vs. West Germany in the semis. Notice how Matthaus immediately consoles Waddle after the miss, even before celebrating with his teammates. Much respect for Lothar. By this time of the film, I damn near shed a tear for Waddle. You can really feel his pain. Anyway, enjoy it. I know that I did.
