Round 23 runs tomorrow (Tuesday) and Wednesday. Round 24 will begin on the weekend. The Pro Cup, which is fantasyleague.com's system-wide open cup, contests its first round during both Round 23 and 24. Please check the icon by your team name at http://www.fantasyleague.com/Pro/Division/Default.aspx?divisionid=48185&groupid=1&f1=1 to see your opening round fixture. Many of you have byes.

BIFA is still on top of the league, has advanced to the final of the Coppa di Walt and will face upstarts FergiesFutbolClub. Chapala has the early lead in the race for the FA Cup.

The transfer window will close on Friday night at 10 pm CST.

BIFA stays atop the league table after 21 rounds.

Coppa di Walt semifinal 4th legs are this weekend with FergiesFutbolClub leading Ozaukee 23-22 and FMAC is in front of BIFA 43-40.

In FA Cup news, Beerguts and bottom-feeders Romo are tied atop of the table after one round of games.

Please click on the trophy icon by your team name on the League Table page of the fantasyleague.com site. There you will find your draw for the first round of fantasyleague.com's so-called Professional National Cup. This is their system-wide cup competition. There are 1478 teams in this tournament which, by my calculations, means the winner would have to win 10 or 11 match-ups in a row to lift the trophy. Some of you drew byes for Round 1 while others will be facing competition. It appears that Round 1 of this competition will run through our Rounds 23 and 24 (January 31-February 5).

A BIFA backroom staffer appears pleased with his team's
having drawn a bye in the Pro Cup 1st Round.

Updated Table

Things get back to normal tomorrow as Round 21 runs Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Tottenham and Everton played a make-up game from Round 1 mid-week, but it will not count towards the Round 21 scoring even though fantasyleague.com is counting it. Round 21 scores can be followed at the Live Scoring link at www.waltleaguepremier.blogspot.com/p/live-scoring.html. REPEAT - All games start at 0-0 tomorrow despite what fantasyleague.com says. The Live Scoring link has the official scores for Round 21.
