2012 Champion Gemmill 78 will be holding a celebratory trophy ceremony Saturday night at The Brass Door at 152 Madison in beautiful downtown Memphis. His new band, Favourite Fallen Idol, is a tribute to the greatest band to hail from Coventry, England - adorable. FFI will be making its debut in honor of Gemmill's 2012 championship season. As is customary in the Walt-iverse, the previous season's holders, AC Frayser, will be in attendance to hand over the trophy to the current champion, Gemmill...I assume.

I understand there will be a Who's Who of Walt trophy winners in attendance. Deportivo is scheduled to make an appearance and rumor has it that he may bring his Euro trophy along that he won this summer to eat peanuts out of at the bar. MLW Supporters Shield holder Stevie G is attending as is FMAC, 2011 Coppa di Walt, and so many runners-up I've lost count. So come on down to The Brass Door to hear the wild shirtless lyrics of Gemmill and the bong-rattling bass of Frumundacheese, who will be accepting his FA Cup winners medal as well.
