FMAC and WAGS move through to the semis to face Real Chapala and AC Frayser respectively. Walt League geeks will know that these are the same 4 teams that qualified for the Round of 4 in the World Cup Walt last summer, only different matchups. The league office gives a quick holla to holders WAGS for the effort.
Competitors, please note that the semifinal round will be contested over two legs - Rounds 35 and 36. Same tiebreaker rules apply.
The Stoke-Wolves game on Tuesday and the Fulham-Bolton game on Wednesday WILL NOT COUNT towards your point total in the 1st leg. The 1st leg will consist of games played on Saturday, April 30 and Sunday, May 1.
My word, TNT sideline reporter Jaime Maggio is lovely.
