Congratulations to Real Chapala on fathering a new bouncing baby boy this morning. MCFFFC is a big brother now as well. Chapala's timing was impeccable as newest son, George, familiarly known as Georgie, born 1/1/2017, will be the oldest in his 2017 age group. Georgie missed the sting of being the youngest in the 2016 section by a mere 11 hours. Chapala himself was a very late '73, born Dec. 21, and has always blamed his modest soccer career on the timing of his birth. Now, young Georgie will have no such excuse.
After 19 rounds, El Jefe remains on top. Round 20 runs tomorrow (Mon, 1/2) through Wednesday. Next weekend is an FA Cup weekend. There will be no league games, however the site has an FA Cup game for you to set your lineups.
